We are seeking a Trade Manager to lead and oversee skilled trade operations at Korte Does It All. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with expertise in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services who thrives in a fast-growing, high-performance environment.

The Trade Manager will be responsible for managing workforce productivity, optimizing service operations, ensuring compliance, and driving business growth. With oversight of technicians and field operations, this leader will focus on efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability, while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

 

Workforce Management

· Hire, train, and develop HVAC, plumbing, and electrical technicians.

· Oversee scheduling and dispatching of field teams to ensure job efficiency.

· Monitor team performance, conduct reviews, and provide ongoing coaching.

 

Project & Service Operations

· Manage installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial projects.

· Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

· Oversee materials, tools, and equipment needed for field teams.

 

Customer & Business Development

· Assess customer needs and provide expert service recommendations.

· Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of service satisfaction.

· Collaborate with sales teams to identify growth opportunities and upsell services.

 

Financial & Budget Oversight

· Track job costs, labor expenses, and material usage to maintain profitability.

· Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high service quality.

· Ensure accurate job pricing, estimates, and financial forecasting.

 

Compliance & Safety

· Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA and industry regulations.

· Stay up to date on building codes, licensing requirements, and best practices.

· Conduct inspections and audits to maintain safety and service excellence.

 

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of management experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services.

· Expert knowledge in one or more skilled trades with a strong ability to train and lead technicians.

· Experience overseeing service operations, workforce scheduling, and job profitability.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

· Commitment to safety, compliance, and service excellence.

Qualifications

You must have these things: 

  • 1-year experience as an HVAC Service Technician
  • Valid US Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check

Responsibilities

  • Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems- air handling units, duct work, vents, condensation drainage
  • Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose
  • Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan
  • Engage with customers/clients to inform them of issues, solutions and outcomes; recommend products and services for optimal system performance
