HVAC Quality Assurance Technician

The Service Technician – Recall Specialist is responsible for accurately diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues on previously serviced equipment. This role focuses on performing advanced diagnostics, corrective repairs, and ensuring long-term solutions to meet client needs and uphold company standards. The technician will serve as a key problem solver for escalated service calls and warranty/recall issues.
Technicians are expected to maintain clear and professional communication with clients, dispatchers, and team members regarding job details, next steps, and any findings. Precise documentation and accountability are essential for every service visit.
Pay: $20 - $45+/hour (Base + Uncapped Commission)

Diagnose complex problems and provide long-term repair solutions on heating and air conditioning equipment, especially for recall, warranty, or repeat service calls.
Lead troubleshooting efforts that require a high level of expertise and technical knowledge.
Ensure high-quality workmanship that minimizes the need for further callbacks.
Maintain strong, professional customer service, providing clear explanations of issues and solutions to clients.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members about job status and recommendations.
Attend manufacturer and advanced technical training as needed to stay current with evolving technologies.
Follow all safety protocols and participate in required safety training.
Capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including lifting 50 lbs or more.
3-5+ years of HVAC service experience, with a focus on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Proven track record of handling complex or repeat service calls successfully.
Strong technical skills combined with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high service standards.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
